Selvans was born to celebrate the inner spirit of the Italic lands, through the recreation of the cults and the folklore of the different ethnic groups that have dwelt in Italy from age to age; expressing this concept by means of sound, lyrics and aesthetics. Ancestral Italic melodies meld with atmospheric, sinister and evocative metal tunes to create a hymn to that ancient spirituality.

Selvans was formed following the demise of Draugr, and, through music, lyrics and aesthetics, the band aims to recreate the mysticism and the folklore that the different ethnic inhabitants of Italy throughout the ages left behind them.

The lineup on “Clangores Plenilunio” EP includes Selvans Haruspex on vocals, keyboards and traditional instruments , Sethlans Fulguriator on guitar, and Draugr co-founders Stolas on bass and Jonny on drums, , who was tragically killed in a motor bike accident in June of last year.

This EP marks the last ever appearance of Jonny, who recorded all of the drum tracks and most of the vocals before his death, and in whose honour the EP is being released.

'Lupercalia' is the first Selvans full length album after their debut mini-cd 'Clangores Plenilunio'. The debut full-length album from Selvans, was released on Avantgarde Music in October.  Titled “Lupercalia”, the album is composed of six tracks, each lasting an average of ten minutes.

Six tracks, over 60 minutes of music again marked by their unique way to mix keyboard-led symphonic black metal with (many) elements of traditional Italian folk but keeping the overall sound very angry, furious and not happy at all.

“Lupercalia” was recorded at  the Faunalia Studios and in Patrizio Tamborriello’s Soluzioni Audio. The  lineup on the album comprises Selvans Haruspex on keyboards, traditional instruments, vocals and  programming,  and Sethlans Fulguriator on guitars and bass.  The  album is available both as a CD  in A5 format and digitally.

After spending most of 2015 on the road promoting the newly-formed band and the mini cd, Selvans is now ready to face up the public with a fundamental release, that is their debut full length album.

On this album we witness Selvans orchestrations dwelling in 8-to-17 minutes long opuses with no moments of boredom or climax failures: You just can't help being raptured by the wolves of Italy.

The new album continues SELVANS’ idea of combining music, lyrics and aesthetics in such a way as to recreate the folklore of Italy’s ancient peoples.  As a consequence,  the visuals, both in terms of album artwork and live sets, is an important aspect for the band.  For “Lupercalia” SELVANS has once again turned to Diletta of E.B.A. Art,  whose first collaboration occurred on the  band’s five-track EP “Clangores Plenilunio”,  which was released on Avantgarde Music in February of this year.  Diletta’s artwork brings to life the designs of founder and frontman Selvans Haruspex in a much lauded way.

BIOGRAPHY

Skyforest is a Russian Atmospheric Black/ Post-Black Metal band founded by B.M. (ex-Autumn's Kingdom, A Light in the Dark, Blurry Lights, Goatech, Hiki, Traceline, ex-Annorkoth) in Podolk, an industrial city in the Moscow oblast . First writings and recordings were made in the beginning of 2013, but the first release surfaced only in the mid-2014, when session members were found for a proper recording. The album Aftermath, featuring great names of the genre as session musicians. 

The debut album of Skyforest 'Aftermath' was recorded with help of Tim/Sorrow (Germ, ex-Austere, ex-Woods of Desolation etc.) (providing drums, lyrics and vocals) as well as other musicians – Risen (Eintritt, Mealann, Phantom Mistress etc.) (intro/outro composing) and Julia H. (Juleah) (providing guest vocals on one of the songs).

The music continues to expand the ideas left in B.M.'s previous project, Annorkoth, and basically it's a continuation of it under the new name. It's not just a simple name change but a separate project.

The melancholic mood, this deeply sad feeling, is one of the pillars of atmospheric music you can hear on Aftermath. This is real, my friends, honest, it feels like a Post-Black Metal While Heaven Wept. The songs’ truthful melancholia. It’s just mesmerizing. The syntethized sounds, amazing vocals, both clean and harsh, orchestrations, the gloomy sounding guitars and a very tight and fit drumming contribute to create a dynamic and impressive release. I feel that there’s also some nostalgic aura as well. I guess this is up to each one interpretation.

When it comes to the album’s production, I’ve got nothing to observe about it, other than it is a pleasant work. This masterpiece of solitude and beauty in sadness should be heard by any listener of this wonderful genre.

Danish one-woman black metal project Myrkur ("darkness" in Icelandic) burst onto the scene like a Valkyrie into battle in mid 2014 combining the rawness of second wave black metal bands like Ulver and Darkthrone with a natural sonic, ethereal beauty, creating a wholly unique perspective on the genre.

Myrkur is the one-woman black metal musical project of Danish musician Amalie Bruun. Myrkur is signed to Relapse Records; initially the real-life identity of the person behind the project was kept unknown.

The project debuted with a self-titled EP in 2014; Bruun provided the vocals, played all guitars and bass and produced the album. Drums were played by her friend Rex Myrnur.

Played her debut show at the Danish Roskilde Festival on July 4th, 2015. Her live band also features members of Det Norske Jentekor ("The Norwegian Girl's Choir").

Has also recorded a cover of Bathory's "Song to Hall Up High". It is available on her YouTube channel.

On the heels of MYRKUR's universally praised debut EP, comes M, the Danish black metal phenom's, in June 2015 Myrkur announced the release of a full length album, entitled M, which was released on August 21, 2015 via Relapse Records. Recorded in various locations of Oslo, Norway (including renowned artist Emanuel Vigeland's mausoleum) with co-producer Garm (the mastermind behind black metal legends Ulver) M finds MYRKUR achieving the grandiose heights that everyone hoped she would climb to.

The melodies are lush and the brutality devastating--M is a highly developed metal masterpiece that blends second-wave black metal, Nordic folk music, classical instrumentation and haunting choirs. Rounded out on record featured Teloch of Mayhem and Nidingr on guitars, with Øyvind Myrvoll of Nidingr and Dodheimsgard on drums plus a guest appearance from Christopher Amott of Arch Enemy, MYRKUR has quickly established herself as one of the best and most intriguing acts in metal today.The album also featurea  additional horn, string and traditional Scandinavian instrument players.  Garm commented about the experience, stating "I am really proud to be involved, to help her make her vision come to life, and also to have her carry the torch, so to speak."

Numerous other festival appearances around Scandinavia and Europe are planned throughout the year while Myrkur is poised to remain one of the most talked about artists of 2015 and beyond.

Aephanemer is a merge of the two French words "éphémère" (ephemeral), and "fânée" (folded).

Founded in 2013 by Martin « Nif » Hamiche, Aephanemer is a Melodic Death Metal band born and located in Toulouse, France.

Aephanemer’s music is characterized with a taste of Scandinavian Melodic Death Metal (Dark Tranquility, In Flames), patterns from Progressive Metal (Dream Theater, Opeth), and depicting shapes and symbols of blues, classical music and russian patriotic marchs.

The core spirit of Aephanemer is to use the might and beauty that can be produced of a bass drum or a six-stringed instrument to narrate slices of life, and express the intense feelings related to it, in the most authentic way possible.

Having initially begun as a one-mand band, the musical essence of Aephanemer has been crystallized in January 2014, within a first solo EP : « Know Thyself », mixed by Maciej Dawidek (Widek) and illustrated by Niklas Sundin (Dark Tranquility).

Marion, Mickaël and Anthony quickly joined the band after the EP release.

The year 2014 was marked by the formation of a complete line-up and the organization of concerts in Toulouse’s musical scene, but also by the composition and realization of a first full-length album, planned to be released in 2015.

On September 24th of 2015 the band notices in their official website that: "The full-length album composition is finally reaching an end and the last song is being composed now.

There will be ten songs on it, and more than 50 minutes of Melodic Death Metal ! You can expect more diversity than on Know Thyself, the full-length format allowed us to create something way more complete than what we have done before".

Clouds is a veritable supergroup containing members of some of the most prolific Doom bands around. Formed by Daniel Neagoe (Eye Of Solitude, Deos, Colosus) in 2013, he states, "The music is dedicated to departed ones, loved ones who now, are no longer amongst us." Joined by Jarno Salomaa (Shape Of Despair), Déhà (Imber Luminis, Slow), Kostas Panagiotou (Pantheist, Wijlen Wij), Pim Blankenstein (Officium Triste, The 11th Hour) and Jón Aldará (Barren Earth, Hamferð), Daniel and crew. CLOUDS orchestrate solemn odes of pain and sorrow dedicated to departed souls. Forged following the passing of someone close and dear, to hear CLOUDS is to lose yourself in a grievous journey through paths of desolation, anguish and despair.

Said the band in a collective statement: “We are extremely happy to have found a label which shares our passion and ideology. That is something hard to find nowadays. Together with Domestic Genocide we will bring you sorrow.”

Adds the Domestic Genocide collective: “There is a comfort in the bitterness that surrounds the sound, the lyrics, the interpretation and the passion with which the songs have been written. And with the help of Domestic Genocide Records, CLOUDS will be bringing sorrow; the music will at once touch and torture. “

Doliu was released via Domestic Genocide in 2014. Portions of the album’s proceeds was donated to Sponsorachild.org.

This is one epic album. The combination of clean and harsh vocals strikes the perfect balance. The sorrow that weaves through the music is expressed in a flawless a melding of beauty and power. The musicianship is top-notch, from the standard instruments to the very prominent and very welcome keyboards.

 It’s this creative awareness that sees this collaboration of able artists transform into something more. Not every one will agree with me, and I really don’t expect them to; it takes a certain type of person to appreciate doom as it is. For most, this will unfortunately be a one time, fleeting listen. It’s a shame for Clouds to have done something special here. It’s not tainted by cliches or high expectations. The album continues in its wave of sheer enjoyment. ‘Doliu’ presents twists and turns captivating its recipients, throwing them down the tumultuous wave of sadness and separation.

The album artwork evokes similar feelings in its beautiful yet minimalist design. The logo is a thin flowing script atop a cloud-filled sky. Below that, one can barely make out a few trees and what looks to be some rather old grave markers on a long forgotten burial ground. In these ways, 'Doliu''s artwork conjures the same sense of despondency and gravity found in the music itself. For some unknown reason, the band decided to package the CD and artwork in a clear DVD case. Whatever their intention, this unique packaging choice sits horizontally atop roughly ten standard jewel cases, making it physically stand out amongst the masses, giving the album a visual appeal that pairs equally well with the allure of the audio.

With three vocalists, there’s a huge shift in sound, and it shapes the record into a titanic display of Clouds’ soundscape. Overall, this is an album that should not be dismissed because you haven’t heard of it. If you’re a doom fan, Clouds’ roster of members should be all the incentive you need to pick this up. For those who will actually take the time to listen to ‘Doliu,’ they will be greeted with an album that highlights the year for extreme metal but also a recording that will stay relevant for many years to come. It’s hard to pin-point an actual single that highlights the album, especially considering that ‘Doliu’ is filled with quality tracks, all with the ability to earn the title. 

For those who are unfamiliar with the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance), 'Doliu' expertly guides the listener through each of them, exploring the full range of mourning. The album touches on these stages with such authenticity that it would be difficult not to feel some inkling of the pain and suffering that comes with losing a loved one. Having recently lost someone very close to me, I, for one, now feel an even deeper connection to the songs than on previous plays through. 

These might all sound like somewhat cliché descriptions for a Doom band, but Clouds brings a depth of honesty that refuses to be ignored. Every piano note is like a sorrow-laden teardrop, every guitar riff a plea to the heavens above, every drumbeat a heart heavy with grief, and every anguish-drenched vocal an affirmation of the despair that these six musicians appear all too familiar with. After all, "doliu" is the Romanian word for mourning.

BIOGRAPHY

Bastardizer was formed in early 2013 in Sydney, Australia with the intention of producing a brand of dirty black thrash n roll that raises fists, induces heads to bang incessantly and makes babes horny. 

The band began writing material and recorded 'Demo(n)s Unleashed' in February. Upon writing more material and making their live debut in Sydney in May.  

Since then the band has garnered a very strong legion of fans after numerous live onslaughts across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia as well as supporting heavy metal heavy weights such as Morbid Angel, Hobbs Angel of Death, Origin, Midnight, Toxic Holocaust and Coroner. Debut LP 'Enforcers of Evil' was released through Heavy Forces (Germany) and Hells Vomit (New Zealand). The band recorded their first full-length 'Enforcers of Evil' in September which was released in January 2014.

Strike of the Bastard is a split release from Brazilian blackened heavy/speed metal horde Whipstriker and Australian black thrashers Bastardizer. A digital version was released by the bands independently while the LP version will drop through Dying Victims Productions, the CD version will be released by Hell Vomit Records and the cassette will be handled by Hellforced Records. Each band brings three tracks of their signature sounds and the blackened yet rollicking edge of both bands allows the split to transition nicely between sides.

Founded in 2009, the São Paulo band John Wayne chooses this name as a protest to violence, referring to US serial killer John Wayne Gacy, also known as "killer clown". Group songs the question common scenarios from day to day Brazil such as poverty, hunger and human cruelty.

In 2010 the band produced their first studio album, released in February 2011, entitled "EP 2011". The songs "Mundo dos Horrores,"  “Talvez o Amanhã” and “Pesadelo Real” are well accepted by the public that the band quickly won the first two years of work. 

In August 2011 he released the single "Aliança" in order to unite different strands of Metal and Hardcore. With participation of musicians Bruno Figueiredo and Rodrigo Brandão, the song quickly reached the 200,000 mark plays on YouTube and has established itself as one of the most representative songs in the Underground scene.

In 2012 the band entered the studio to record the first full: the "Tempestade" album. The disc is designed under the signature of the renowned music producer  Adair Daufembach, whose resume productions has Hangar, Ponto Nulo No Céu, Project 46, Aquiles Priester e Tony Macalpine. 

"Tempestade" reached 11,000 plays in less than 72 hours of viewing on YouTube. The official release of the album took place on November 12, 2012, entirely virtual and independent. On that day the #JohnWayne and #Tempestade hashtags joined the list of trending topics on Twitter in Brazil. The release concert took place on November 24, 2012 at Carioca Club in a historic event in Sao Paulo, which included the participation of 1,200 person on the crowd. The show and the backstage were recorded and will be part of a future DVD of the band.

In February 2013 Edu Garcia enters the band and marks a new phase in the group's career. In the album promo tour "Tempestade", John Wayne performs in several cities of São Paulo and it shows in the cities of Paraná, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.

In conjunction with the MB Movies the band produces music video clip of "Lágrimas". Launched in October 2014, the highlight of creation was moved to the Freefly technology in the camera movements, as well as image resolution: Digital Cinema 4K. The clip was cited as one of the best audiovisual productions in 2014 in the Brazilian underground scene.

"Dois Lados" is the name of the new work of the band, whose production is also signed by Adair Daufembach and will be released in two parts (I and II). The album was released for the first time with a record label, the Deckdisc record.

The new work consists of 10 tracks and music production, as well as its predecessor album, is signed by Adair Daufembach. Songs question everyday issues and human cruelty; a protest done since the band's name: the same as the serial killer US known as "killer clown". With a more modern language, in "Dois Lados – Parte I" Metal / Hardcore band comes enhanced with aggressive vocals, heavy guitar riffs and drum driven dynamics. However without restricting the labels or styles.

John Wayne was one of brazilian national representative in the Sunset Stage at Rock in Rio in 2015, alongside bands Lamb of God, Deftones, Halestorm and Project46.

The Project46 was born in 2008 with childhood friends who had a Slipknot cover band  (Kroach) who later left for a new "project" of music copyright. His first record was with the EP titled "If You Want Your Survival Sign Wake up Tomorrow" containing 4 tracks in English. After more than 30 shows,  the band had new material and was ready to record their first album.

In 2011, Project46 recorded his first album, "Doa a Quem Doer" which included the production of the renowned producer Adair Daufembach (Hangar, John Wayne, Pray for Mercy, Command6, Huaska, Null Point in Heaven Against Tolerance, etc.) .

"Doa a Quem Doer" was made available for free download on the official Project46 site and is the first record of the band with lyrics sung in Portuguese. The change has been very positive and the band gained a lot more fans and admirers.

In 2012, it launched the EP "Ao Vivo no Inferno" with five live tracks, including a cover of Slipknot. The record was made in São Paulo in the traditional venue, Club Inferno and the same year, the band participated in the mega-festival MACHINERY FEST in Chile.

In 2013 the band was the only national representative line-up of MONSTERS OF ROCK Brazil in 2013 at Arena Anhembi in Sao Paulo. By the end of 2013, the band promoted the "Doa a Quem Doer " Tour and played more than 80 shows, three video clips, 25 000 official downloads of the album and 3000 copies sold.

Project46 recently released her second studio album titled "Que Seja Feita a Nossa Vontade", launched in April 2014 throughout the national territory for the label Wikimetal Music. The album re-signed by the producer Adair Daufembach, has as its main theme the current socio-economic situation of our country undergoing a difficult moment passea corruption, violence, inequality and injustice.

Currently the band is touring the new album, and has participated in major festivals in Brazil and Chile, and participated in three shows the last Cavalera Conspiracy tour through South America.

BIOGRAPHY

The year was 2011, with influences from different bands like Sepultura, Lamb Of God, Pantera, among others, dealing with lyrics in Portuguese, existential themes and awaken the inquiring nature of human beings, and with the addition of not one but two singers who had just left their respective bands, directly enter the studio to record its first material.

"Nosce you Ipsum" was the first fruit, released as a web-single  in December 2011, reached great repercussion in the Carioca underground environment, which yielded some shows and fans ever since. In January 2012, without wasting time launch his second unpublished work, also released in the form of web-single, entitled "A Grande Caverna", which later would become the music responsible for the first video clip of the band, which most raised several thousand fans along the Ep "Conheça A Ti Mesmo" released in May 2012.

They are from his appearance, among the 10 most accessed metal bands from Rio de Janeiro by Reverbnation.com site, and became this short time, in one of the reference bands in the metalcore style of Brazil. They performed since then in major festivals of the independent Latin American music, as the Grito Rock in Cabo Frio edition in 2012 and 2013, among major stints in capitals like Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, São Paulo, Salvador (Stage Rock 2013 ), Sampa Music Festival 11 (2014), among others over 50 shows. 

In December 2013 finalized the tour "Conheça A Ti Mesmo" which earned more than 50 shows  by the Northeast, South and Southeast of the country, when in parallel were recording their new album "Por Árduos Caminhos Até Às estrelas", recorded and produced by renowned producer Adair  Daufembach (Aquiles Priester, Project46), released on February 18, 2014, which no longer has the guitarist and founder of the band, Caléo Lima, who died in a traffic accident in August 2013.

This is the first full official length of the group, sanctioned by the quality of audio that was on account of Adair Daufembach, renowned national producer, responsible for productions of bands like Aquiles Priester and Project 46, the band whose vocalist Caio MacBeserra, who also made a stake in the album, which can be checked in "Maieuttica" range, single released in November 2013 via youtube, while the band yet concluded the process of recording this record.The artwork of the cover is the responsibility of the "X-Tudo", guitarist of Goias band "A Última Theoria".

The release concert took place on March 9 at the Teatro Odyssey, already known and renowned concert venue located on Avenida Mem de Sá, 66 - LAPA RJ, and featured the participation of Felipe Chehuan, lead singer of the Clash, one of greater impact bands in the Metal underground Carioca in the world, along with some bands in the state scenario. This show earned recordings to WebClipe of "Carpe Diem", which was released in the first half of 2014, while continuing his schedule of tour "PACAAE - 2014" already undergoing major cities of RJ and SP in early 2014.

Featured some of the biggest force in the country festivals such as Scream Rock 2012, 2013, Stage of Rock 2013 (Salvador - BA), Sampa Music Festival 2014 (São Paulo - SP), the band of Rio de Janeiro which began its activities with a EP and a clip in 2012, quickly became a reference in the national Metalcore. One of the proofs of this fact, was the presentation with the Texas band "Close Your Eyes" in Rio de Janeiro, in support of his Latin American tour in April 2014, featured in Sampa Music Festival 11, and the current tour going through more states than previous years.

In this moment the band are the touring the album release "Por Árduos Caminhos Até as Estrelas", and pre-production of the new album, scheduled for 2016.

 M'vula are a Angolan rock band  more specifically rap and metal since 2008 that spread the rock in Angola. The M'vula or N'vula expression is of African origin and means rain or storm in several languages ​​on the African continent. The essence of their music comes from the energy of society itself in that the band is inserted, the experience of each band element results in a fusion of Hip Hop and Rock, thus achieving a powerful and captivating sound.

It was the year 2008 in Luanda, when fate made Edson Avelino presented his brother Mauro Jorge Avelino (Rapper Lil Jorge) Paul Albuquerque (guitar), fruit of that friendship is born the desire to form the M'vula musical project, both felt the need to contribute to the music scene of the Angolan rock and serve as a voice of day-to-day life of the Angolan people.

The initial alignment of the band consisted of Lil Jorge on vocals, Paulo Albuquerque as guitarist Edu Benson as a drummer, Leandro on bass and Bruno AG as a DJ. Shortly after Edu Benson and Leandro are replaced by Maninho and Lito who in late 2009 also end up leaving.

The M'vula again recruited two new elements, Felix Batera as a drummer and Celson Costa (Kermit) on bass (ex-band members of the Angolan Grunge D7). The collaboration Celson Costa in the project lasted until the end of 2010.

The band ran out bassist until November 2011, Hugo Domingos joined the band, thanks to Mauro Neb (founding member of the Angolan Fog metal band) and Manel Kavelara (DJ, event production Kavalera Entertainment). In 2012, M. G. (Reais Camaradas) shall be effective member of the group after a few collaborations.

In July, the band recorded their 1st EP `` Tempestade'' in Gspot studios with Miguel Camilo (former guitarist of Anselmo Ralph and currently makes the musical production of the music of Philip There Feria) taking advantage of the trip to Portugal to work in 31 Motard Concentration Faro.

Bruno AG due to the development of the project Zone 5 in which is also DJ is forced to stop being an active member of M'vula, despite never having been the will.

In early 2013, the band signed a record contract with an Angolan publisher, but the result turned out to be negative, because although there is an EP ready to be manufactured and a commitment by the publisher, the publisher did not come to edit, leaving the band on hold.

In 2014, the band decided to invest their own money, sent reproduce the EP `` Tempestade'' and on June 14, 2014 finally released his EP, thus ending the previous contract with the publisher.

Due to the requirement of other musical projects (Gabriel Tchiema, Yola Araújo, Matias Damásio, Carlos do Carmo and Paulo Flores), drummer Felix Batera decides to leave the band.

For the concert of Rock Festival in Rio II (Catumbela) the band had some changes that would be definitive, Hugo Domingos went to the guitar, Bruno Braz goes on bass and Michel Marques enters as a drummer.

The M'vula have performed many shows in many places around Angola and Portugal.

In this year traveled to Portugal to play in the 34th Motard Concentration Faro, where they had already played in 2012 and took the scroll to record their album it seems will be launched early next year.
