Morthus Band ended because of some reasons happened between band members, it's all explained in the statement below:
"Dear fans, colleagues, friends and Haters ...
Morthus hereby officially announced that their parted ways between the members. At the same time we want to insure that such separation is purely musical and non-human, and takes place in all friendship. Because not bridgeable differing views on the musical direction, and the goals of the band all have decided that it is now time to follow their own musical passion and writing music and playing that each individual with passion and met joy.
Kharon and Hrafnagud will address in future their Groove Death Metal Project "Breaper", you may be curious as to what pops us in the near future around the ears. Check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/breapergroove
Krypoth has chosen to look in the next few years intensively to his family, as a new father an understandable decision, for which I wish him all the power in the world :) Nevertheless, he will be on the experience now and again behind the drums or other gig.
Asgharoth Morthus is (for now) to operate as a one-man project further, while the open slots are occupied by live session musicians.
Furthermore Morthus accomplished at a later time a change in name. The chapter Morthus worn mid to the grave, but the journey continues under a new flag on.This name change me busy for some time and had long been decided. The reason for this is the simple fact that it always get confusused with the Polish colleagues, which would have a negative effect with increasing time to the musical progress of both bands, as it relates to promoters, as well as fans of the music.
Finally, we can only say that it is, in despite of the split-up's, for all, going in different ways, our friendship continues. From a great band formed two great bands, which is not bad either.
We thank all our companions, and all fans and colleagues for their support."

Now that we are from Out & Loud Festival in Geiselwind back and could relax a little, I can now officially begin to spread medial my new baby "Lotan". Once the organizer has uploaded the pictures of the newcomer stage, I can present to you here some impressions of our show. As announced at the previous Morthus Band Page is in "Lotan" the direct successor of the black metal band "Morthus" and solves these off without stopping. Both Band Pages here in Facebook will be merged, but that may well be a few days, depending on the proceeds as risky or safe on Facebook, take. After that the band shared the first impression of the upcoming debut album. A demo version of the song "Fall Of Persistence" (working title), more details will be revealed soon.
